(1) High energy density. The natural gas stored in LNG vehicles with the same volume in storage tanks is 2.5 times that in CNG gas cylinders. At present, large foreign LNG trucks can drive 1000-1300km continuously once for gas filling, which is very suitable for long-distance transportation. LNG vehicles in China are generally more than 800km long.
(2) Low construction cost and operation cost. Compared with CNG gas station, LNG gasification station does not need multi-stage compressor unit with high cost and wide floor area, which greatly reduces initial investment and operation cost of gas station. The one-time investment in the construction of LNG gasification station is about 30% less than that of CNG gas station, and the daily operation and maintenance costs are reduced by nearly 50%.
(3) It is flexible and convenient to build the station. The main advantage of LNG gasification station is that it is free from the restriction of natural gas transmission network, and it is more flexible to build a station, which can be built anywhere needed.
(4) Significant economic benefits. Because LNG is cheaper than gasoline and diesel, and because LNG burns completely, does not produce carbon deposits and does not dilute lubricating oil, it can effectively reduce the wear of parts and prolong the life of automobile engines, so LNG has significant economic benefits.
