times

1、 Precautions for kitchen decoration before natural gas ventilation:

1. Do not change the walls, doors, windows and area of the kitchen without authorization. The reserved door opening in the kitchen should be set with a solid door that meets the requirements of the residential design specifications to separate the bedroom, living room (living room) and other non gas rooms; The kitchen shall not be used for accommodation, warehouse and other purposes; Ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated.

2. Do not change gas meters, pipelines and other gas facilities without authorization. Gas facilities cannot be wrapped or concealed by cabinets, ceilings, etc. Gas pipelines cannot be used as grounding wires of other electrical equipment. If you need to change the gas pipeline, please call the 24-hour service hotline of Chengdu Gas 028-962,777.

3. When new users breathe, our company will install special hoses for gas appliance connection free of charge. If the user installs the hose by himself, the special fuel gas hose shall be used. The hose shall not be deformed or cracked. There shall be no interface or tee in the middle of the hose. The length shall not exceed 2 meters. The hose shall not be laid above the stove. The horizontal distance between the hose above the side of the gas appliance and the edge of the gas appliance shall not be less than 30 cm.

4. The water heater must be installed with a flue. The special flue provided by the manufacturer of the water heater should be used. It is prohibited to use a direct discharge water heater. The flue installation requirements are as follows:

(1) The flue is strictly prohibited to pass through the bedroom, bathroom, toilet and living room;

(2) The length of horizontal flue of residential gas equipment shall not exceed 5m;

(3) The number of flue bends shall not exceed 4 (except for forced exhaust type);

(4) The clear distance from the ceiling or wall of burning materials shall not be less than 25cm;

(5) The flue shall be tightly connected and firmly fixed without damage;

(6) The flue outlet shall effectively extend out of the room, and a hood shall be installed. The outlet of the mesh hood shall extend out of the room.

5. It is recommended to use stoves and water heaters with flameout protection devices. The horizontal clear distance between the gas appliance and the gas pipeline shall not be less than 30cm, and the horizontal clear distance between the front pipe of the stove and the gas appliance shall not be less than 20cm. When the gas pipeline passes over the gas appliance, it shall be located above the range hood, and the vertical clear distance with the gas appliance shall be more than 100cm.

6. Requirements for safe distance between wires, sockets, distribution boxes and gas facilities:

(1) The safe distance between gas pipeline and power socket and switch shall not be less than 15cm;

(2) The safe distance between the gas pipeline and the electricity meter in the distribution box shall not be less than 30cm;

(3) The safe distance between the gas pipeline and the exposed insulated wire shall not be less than 25 (parallel) and 10 cm (cross);

(4) The horizontal clear distance between the gas meter and the domestic gas stove and water heater shall not be less than 30cm;

(5) The horizontal clear distance between gas meter and distribution box and electricity meter shall not be less than 50cm;

(6) The horizontal clear distance between gas meter and power socket and power switch shall not be less than 20cm.

2、 Relevant national specifications and interpretations

(1) National standard basis

According to the industrial standard of the People's Republic of China CJJ12-2013 Code for Installation and Acceptance of Domestic Gas Burning Appliances, Article 4.2.1 "The kitchen with stove shall be equipped with a door and separated from the bedroom, living room, etc.", and the national standard of the People's Republic of China GB 50028-2006 Code for Urban Gas Design The Code for Design of Residential Buildings (GB 50,096-2011) has relevant requirements: "It is strictly forbidden to install gas equipment in bedrooms; indoor gas stoves should be installed in well ventilated kitchens and balconies; gas water heaters and other gas equipment should be installed in well ventilated kitchens, balconies or other non residential rooms."

(2) Explanation of provisions and safety risks that do not meet the requirements of the specification

1. Interpretation

Guests can not stop staying or resting in the living room, and the living room naturally plays the role of bedroom in a certain period of time. As a place to rest and sleep, the bedroom is not easy to detect gas leakage and is sensitive to harmful substances such as lampblack. It should be physically separated from the gas field. At the same time, it should also ensure that there are other ventilation outlets in the bedroom, so as to ensure the safety of air circulation and the sanitary conditions for preventing lampblack at night.

The kitchen is separated from the bedroom and living room (hall) to prevent gas leakage and smoke from endangering life safety. It is the basic demand of residents that the kitchen, bedroom and living room (hall) have natural ventilation conditions respectively.

2. Safety risks of gas use that do not meet the specification requirements

(1) If the kitchen is not closed and there are no doors and walls, the fire can easily spread to other places; Combustible gas may leak and quietly spread to living room, bedroom and other places, and switching on and off the TV may lead to disaster.

(2) Due to objective factors such as the use of air conditioners, mosquito prevention and wind protection in the living room, it is inevitable that the windows will be closed, which will naturally lead to the formation of a closed room. The use of gas in the closed room is likely to cause carbon monoxide poisoning.

3、 Related questions and answers

1. Question: Why can't the open kitchen ventilate?

Answer: (1) When the developer entrusts the gas company to implement the civil gas project, the kitchen has an independent functional space in the building materials of your home, and the gas facilities in your home are designed according to your kitchen environment. According to relevant national regulations, gas appliances should be installed in the kitchen or non residential room with good ventilation and air supply and exhaust conditions. You decorate the kitchen into an open type or remove the door of the kitchen without authorization, so that the gas appliances are installed in the residential room, which violates the requirements of relevant national regulations and does not meet the safe gas use conditions. Therefore, your open kitchen cannot be ventilated.

2. Question: What do customers need to do to communicate?

Answer: (1) According to Article 4.2.1 of CJJ12-2013 Code for Installation and Acceptance of Domestic Gas Burning Appliances, the industrial standard of the People's Republic of China, "The kitchen with cooker should be equipped with a door and separated from the bedroom and living room", it is recommended that you set a solid wall or door in the kitchen with cooker to separate it from the bedroom and living room (hall).

(2) The requirements of national specifications for kitchen with gas facilities are as follows:

The Technical Code for Urban Gas (GB50494-2009) has the following provisions in Article 8.2.2: Gas appliances for residential use shall not be set in bedrooms. The gas appliance shall be installed in the kitchen or non residential room with good ventilation and air supply and exhaust conditions. The so-called "non residential room" is explained as follows in the term 2.0.12: other rooms in the residence except the bedroom and living room (hall). The Technical Code for Urban Gas is a mandatory standard in full text, which should be strictly implemented in all fields involved. Considering the safety of gas use and fire protection, this standard stipulates that gas appliances should not be installed in bedrooms, living rooms (halls) and other living rooms.

Article 4.2.1 in the Code for Installation and Acceptance of Domestic Gas Burning Appliances (CJJ12-2013) clearly details: "The kitchen with cooking appliances shall be equipped with doors and separated from the bedroom and living room"; "The wall adjacent to the gas appliance shall be made of incombustible materials. When it is made of combustible or fire-resistant materials, fire insulation boards shall be provided".

Article 10.4.4-1 of Code for Design of Urban Gas Engineering (GB50028-2006) stipulates that "the gas stove shall be installed in the kitchen with natural ventilation and natural lighting"; Article 10.4.5-1 stipulates: "The gas water heater shall be installed in a well ventilated non residential room, corridor and balcony."

The Code for Design of Residential Buildings (GB50096-2011) has requirements for kitchen collection, ventilation and use area: first, the bedroom, living room (hall) and kitchen should have direct natural lighting; Second, the bedroom, living room (hall) and kitchen should have natural ventilation; Third, the window to floor area ratio of lighting window openings in bedrooms, living rooms (halls) and kitchens should not be less than 1/7; Fourthly, the kitchen area of the residential suite consisting of bedroom, living room (hall), kitchen and toilet shall not be less than 4.0m2; The usable area of the kitchen of the Z small apartment of the residence consisting of the bedroom, kitchen and toilet that also serve as living room shall not be less than 3.5m2.

3. What are the national standards for the doors and walls separating the kitchen from the living room?

Answer: Article 5.8.6 of the Code for Residential Design stipulates that "the kitchen door shall be provided with a fixed shutter with an effective sectional area of no less than 0.02m2 at the lower part, or a gap of no less than 30mm can be left according to the ground." It must be a door or wall on the entity.

4. Q: When did this provision begin to be implemented? The neighbor is also an open kitchen. Last month, they all got gas. Why can't I get gas? How to deal with customers who have been contacted?

Answer: Our company strictly follows the relevant national industrial standards. Customers who have been ventilated before will arrange security patrol inspection and issue a hidden danger rectification notice to require customers to rectify. Customers who have not been ventilated must rectify and meet the requirements before they can be ventilated.

5. Q: I didn't know that the open kitchen can't be ventilated before, but now it's said that it can't be ventilated after the decoration is completed. The gas company doesn't give customers a buffer period. If it doesn't make sense, it doesn't make sense. It's very inhumane.

A: Our company has delivered the Gas Notification to the developer before the developer delivers the house, and requires the developer to issue the Gas Notification to the customer when delivering the house. The decoration precautions in the Gas Notification clearly stated that "gas rooms and non gas rooms shall be effectively isolated". In the later period, our company will also increase publicity efforts in gas project acceptance, gas supply contract signing, gas supply and other links. If the gas is not used according to the requirements and specifications, there is indeed a gas safety risk:

(1) If the kitchen is not closed and there are no doors and walls, the fire can easily spread to other places; Combustible gas may leak and quietly spread to living room, bedroom and other places, and switching on and off the TV may lead to disaster.

(2) Due to objective factors such as the use of air conditioners, mosquito prevention and wind protection in the living room, it is inevitable that the windows will be closed, which will naturally lead to the formation of a closed room. The use of gas in the closed room is likely to cause carbon monoxide poisoning.

For the safety of your gas use, it is recommended that you add solid walls and doors as soon as possible according to the national specifications, and our company will provide ventilation services.

6. Question: What are the potential safety hazards in the use of gas in open kitchens?

Answer: The kitchen with open fire is one of the places where Z is prone to fire. If it is an open kitchen, the fire can easily spread to other places.

In case of gas leakage, the leaked gas will enter the living room and bedroom relatively quickly. If the rest people do not notice it in time, switching on and off the TV may cause deflagration.

If the kitchen is not well ventilated or the gas appliances such as gas stove and water heater fail, incomplete combustion will produce carbon monoxide. If the kitchen is not closed and there is no door or wall, carbon monoxide is more likely to spread to the living room, bedroom and other places, poisoning people who sleep soundly and seriously losing their lives.

It is a very serious safety problem that the gas room is not effectively isolated from the non gas room. For the personal safety of you and your family, you should rectify immediately. If you are ventilated first, once any problem occurs, it will bring you great property losses, even casualties. Even if the insurance company compensates you, the damage to your beloved house or your family will never be remedied.
